Ravi Ghongade is founder and CEO of Cotswold Cleantech Energy in Cheltenham. He is building SolarMind, software that decides every half hour whether a home should use, store, buy, or export energy, using electricity prices, solar forecasts, and household demand.

He is a mechatronics engineer. At the University of Gloucestershire he designed and built a solar-powered EV charging prototype for his BEng dissertation. SolarMind is the same idea carried into a product: solar, a home battery, and an EV working from one set of decisions.
