Help Chilton Primary School get solar

Chilton Lane, Ramsgate, CT11 0LQ

Chilton Primary School is a primary academy on Chilton Lane in Ramsgate, Kent, for children aged 4 to 11. It converted to academy status in March 2015 and is part of the Viking Academy Trust. The school is in the Thanet district of Kent and is a mixed primary school without nursery classes, according to the Department for Education's Get Information about Schools register. Schools use most of their electricity during the school day, which is when solar panels generate, so a rooftop system could reduce the power the school buys from the grid and free up budget for learning. Suitability would need to be confirmed by a site survey.
