Help Shawclough Community Primary School get solar

Thrum Hall Lane, Rochdale, OL12 6DE

Shawclough Community Primary School is a community primary school on Thrum Hall Lane in Rochdale for children aged 2 to 11. It is maintained by Rochdale Borough Council and has nursery classes. The Department for Education's Get Information about Schools register records that the school has resourced provision and a special educational needs unit for pupils with autism and profound and multiple learning difficulties. Schools use most of their electricity during the school day, which is when solar panels generate, so a rooftop system could reduce the power the school buys from the grid and free up budget for learning. Suitability would need to be confirmed by a site survey.
